Dont think so. Will be a waste of money to make such a movie. But then we all know Hollywood !

No - but there was a film made in 1980 called 'Raise The Titanic, starring, amongst others, Jason Robards & Richard Jordan.
The premise of the film was that the ship had on board a rare mineral that could be used to make a laser weapon, bringing it to the attention of the American & Russian governments. YEs the film is that good!!!
But the 'Titanic' is raised to the surface in the film!

I hope so. Titanic is the best movie - PERIOD. It had a consistent plot that was carried through an epic story that entertained all the while. All directors should watch Titanic and take notes. I would love to see more of Titanic, however I fear that won't be able to live up to the first.
