i met my schoolmate after 2 years and we exchanged our phone numbers.....he used to message me frequently and this was happening for 3 months and suddenly he has stopped messaging me..i miss this...we are just friends and there is nothing more between us....but can it mean that i like him?

Of course it means you like him, you like him as a friend. You and he have built up a good friendship over the 3 months and after you hadn't seen him for 2 years before. Send him a text message or ring him to ask why he has suddenly stopped texting you. It will be the only way you will find out.

Accept that he has moved on. Text messages are not the only thing in life there is such a thing as real life contact. He has moved on in his life, there comes a time to shut the door on the past and face new adventures. He has obviously chosen to do this and it seems you thought more of the contact than he did other wise it would never have ceased. Close the door to that friendship and make new ones. It seems that the contact with this person made you feel good about yourself, find others who do this I am sure you have other contacts

Yea, you might like him more than just a friend, but why don't you casually call him and ask how he's doing... haven't heard from you in a while... wanna get together... etc. Maybe you'll figure out what you're feeling or maybe his feelings will present themselves (like why he's stopped messaging you).

we all like to have friends, and of course you like him, how much is up to you. maybe his phone is not working or he has a new interest. what ever his reason just drop a line once in a while to say Hi. if he wants you to leave him alone hopefully you were friends enough for him to tell you this.

what did you do while he was messaging you...just know that every relationship is a give and take sort of thing, so you either motive his doings or you discouraged them already, so make the first move and he might receprocate...either wway...you'll know..
