The UN would love to stop the war. The problem is that the USA is one of the permanent members, and everytime the UN votes to put up a resolution to stop the war - America vetoes it. Thats the kind of power it has.
Thats why the war continues. Because the UN is now powerless to do anything.
IF the UN were to invade USA and tell George to stop - George would be crying FOUL you are illegally entering my country and you have no rights.
Never mind that he did the exact same thing to Iraq, but thats different. America is allowed to strike first just in case they might get attacked. The UN is not allowed to do the same according to the Laws of the USA.
Thats how much power George has now. And he is delusional.
God know what he will do with this power.

It is strangely obvious that the Untied Nations has no stance. That is how we got in this mess in the first place. Violation of 17 UN resolutions with no action from the UN put us in this position today. Simply put, there are countries in the UN that are doing everything in their power to have Iraqi Freedom fail. It would help end the conflict if the world would step up and assist the Iraqi people have a safe country to live in, but, it is all about making the US fail that seems to be their agenda.

They don´t care. USA has the power, pressing, pushing, paying, etc. In the meantime thousands of people are dying but the show must go on. No body can stop it except USA voters (if they growth up)
