nah j/k, infinity isn't a number, it's just a concept
numbers never end, because once you reach a number where you think you can't go any more, you can.

True. Partially and mathematically.
You can pick an end to the number exactly where you want it to end.
This is true of some, many(mathematically many) numbers but not all.
In case of decimals you use significant method.
In other case like series you define a convenient point to end converging(unending) series.
Diverging sires by calling it by "Infinity" or "Infinite" (this is pushing)

Not only do the numbers not end, but they do not begin, either.
Now here is the kicker. Even if you take a segment of a line, and consider real numbers, then there are still more of them than could ever be counted, in every segment of line you chose (and, you might guess, you could choose infinitely many segments of line).
Infinity is a fascinating subject.
