Unfortunately they have clerics and Mullahs who are inadequately endowed who need to feel they are in power. They incite people to become martyrs by encouraging suicide bombers, not for the betterment of conditions for all but to apease the giant egos of the power hungry religiious extremists.
Not all Muslims are bad or terrorists, many abhor the actions of these minority groups as they are an embarrassment to the nation as a whole. If the media stopped giving them publicity they might sissapear into obscurity.

The best answer is that *every* country has some problem - from the largest to the smallest. Sealand is up for sale (want to buy a country?) because of a fire. The US has issues with race relations, poverty, and a massive financial deficit, not to mention health care. Pretty much any place where there's two groups of people (color, language, race, religion, wealth) has a separatist movement &/or active conflict between the groups.
It's part of life & the human condition.

Racism is just fear of other people's cultures. We ALL have problems. Why is it that the US government thinks it should impose our way of life on the rest of the planet? You would do well to step back from the media barrage. Most people the world over have 1) some crazy beliefs about how the world is, and 2) a basic desire to live a productive life in peace and without fear. That's you; that's me, and that's most Muslims, too. Have a great day. :-)

For the same reason every Christian country has some problem; inhabitants are human beings.
USA has problems; drug addiction, crime, a welfare culture. I live in a major urban area and I know this so very well.
