Since all the other parts of the body are also dis-similar in same gender of human beings in terms of color, size and shapes, why only few are called private.

They are called private parts because they are the portions of your body that you keep private, and not out for public view and display.

no one else has the right to see or touch those body parts unless you give them permission.

bcoz they r simply someone's personal thing and not of course for public viewing.
Most of the people , barring somebody , would like to cover their "private parts".
Thats why they call it what they are called.

becasue the genatlia and the parts we cover with clothes are considered private we dont' show them in public it is considered vulgar or rude in our society hence why they are called private parts.

I think they are called so because they are restrictively visible for that person only and true knowledge abt them is available only to that person.
