propagation from cuttings vary from from being the right time of the year -- to the right conditions --- but the rule of thumb is if you've done all the right things --- no more than 6 weeks will tell you if you're cutting was a success or not .
always check the bottom of the pot to see if some roots are showing --- you'll soon see if the cutting worked out . good luck .
