civilization 3 question?

Question

my city has gone into civil disorder. how do i get it out of civil disorder?

Answer 1

1. Move more troops in (fortify more troop units in the city)
2. Change the tax/luxury rate (from your advisors menu)
3. Convert a citizen to an entertainer (by clicking on them in the settlement screen)
4. Build a "happy" making building (temple, church, etc)

If you're really desperate and cruel, convert all the citizens to entertainers and they will eventually begin to starve to death, the city population will go down and you'll have order again.
You can also try building a settler unit from that city to move the unhappy people out.
