I don't know but i do know that it took for me about four months to become level 6. It took me ages. Before i was level 5 i would always answer questions and vote until i would come onto my daily limit. I would also try hard to get best answers by giving very good researched answers if possible. Im level 6 now and it will take me ages until i am level 7. I live in the UK but when i went for the summer to AZ, U.S. i went to answer questions at midnight everyday to exceed the daily limit. That's how i changed levels really fast in four weeks. You do get presents and stuff in the U.S. for being some certain level on Yahoo! Answers.. Too bad they don't do that in the UK otherwise i would have gotten an Yahoo! Answers mug to drink from. Get about four hundred points a week and you will get there.. I always set myself a target on how many points i have to have.. Answer questions quickly and avoid asking and you will be there in no time..
Have a nice day and good luck becoming the next level!

I can feel for you. I caught the same sickness. What I can't understand is how people can get 2000 ( or some such number a week ).People who joined after me have 35,000 points! I guess I don't really know how this works. I can see someone has 100 pts on a Monday, and you look at them on a Wednesday, and they have 1000 pts. How is that done?

figure you have to answer 885 questions
two points per question
don't give long drawn out answers
should take between 6 to 8 hours depending on how fast you type and how fast your internet works
count on the 8

I know what you mean. It took me forever, averaging over 1000 points a week, to get to level 7. If you keep at it, it may only take you a few days to get there.

If you keep working on it 3-4 hours a day, it may take you about a week.

Approximately, I think it would take 1780 minutes, if you answer the questions quickly, taking only 2 minutes per question. >>>LOL!!!!
