I started my car and left it to warm up for a while as always,it started fine,no wierd noises,i turned on the heater to near high.and then i went insid eto get my coat for the trip and when i got back outside all that was going was my heater..I have electricity it tries to start but wont turn over all the way.. am getting gas.I checked fuses they all seem fine.the car is a 1994 cavalier.4 cylinders.

i think it would be your alternator try getting a jump start and pull your ground wire off your battery if the car stalls your alternator is bad .. if it stays running then its your battery or try cleaning your battery cables

Sound like your battery is weak. Could also have a loose alternator belt or alternator shorting out letting battery go down.

Alternator? I had one that when I would turn extra things on heat, lights, air it would start dying. Or could be battery getting bad.

is battery not flat your fan will still run until battery is dead
