Men cheat, women cheat. People cheat because it's more convenient and because of conflicting interests.
In your case maybe he didn't want to hurt you, maybe he didn't care, maybe he was afraid to confront you, maybe something else.
You should know that people are happy together long term not because the partner looks terriffic, but because of a whole bunch of reasons. If I were you I'd be thinking if there was anything I could do better in the next relationship instead of trying to find what was wrong with that guy. Won't help you you know.

Men and Women both cheat because they don't have any respect or values. No dignity or pride in their self. They don't value and appreciate what they do have and take it for granted. If someone truly loves you they won't cheat. Men don't notice looks when they are cheating-they have only one thing on their mind. Weak. And women do it for attention. Sad.

For the same reason women do. May be your EX-boyfriend saw the real beauty a person can have, the inside one and may be you see this girl, but she's a lot more beautiful than you inside. How did you treat him and how do you see her treating him? May be in you look inside you an re-evaluate you self you'll find why he left you.

in this case it MIGHT be YOUR attitude that drove him away. you think she was really ugly to be honest that type of thinking also takes VERY MUCH away from your "looks" too. would it have been ok if she was pretty. i think he came out on top
