Have a decent HP laptop but most cd's i try to import to my itunes library give me the blue screen of death!!! I go offline after getting cd details before i start transferring so am baffled to the cause. Please help.

Because importing CDs to iTunes doesn't work-- flat out. And their tech support emailed me back and told me they are aware of the problem when I was experiencing a similar issue.

I had the same problem for a while, and when I followed every step on the troubleshooter available in the iTunes section of apple.com, it finally started to work. Then, the CDs did not import properly. Rather than breaking at the track breaks, it would break in the middle of a song. The next track would be the last half of the first one plus the first half of the one it's supposed to be.

The record companies don't want you to be able to do it. It's too much hassle, it will not work.

u may not be programmed to do this, some times things do come back up the way they should after the thing crashes, i could need to have the whole nine yards put back into it by the supplier
