Dual core is not an actual implementation it is just a double core processor having their different cache and shared bus. So if a one processor want to communicate with the other then it has to do the same by means of system bus.

But in case of Core Duo the two processors have a shared cache which is shared dynamically. means all of the cache can be used by one processor if the other one is free or do not need it. Also processors can comunicate directly.

Also core due requires less power as compared to dual core.

so go for Core duo processor
