hate to say this but i think its too late. wool is not an easy thing to get stains out of especially long after the event.
but a professional cleaner will help you with advise at the very least. good luck.

Put kitchen roll under the jumper, add white wine, seriously, then kitchen roll on top to absorb the moisture, this should dilute the redness. Then use Vanish, apply direct to the jumer, leave and then handwash.
One of the most important thing is not to rub the stain, just dab
Good luck

White wine should do the trick ,it´s much about the same when you spill red wine on your carpet , pour a little white wine then absorb with kitchen roll or a muslin cloth

This normally works if its fresh but you can try it anyway....buy a cheap bottle of soda water and soak it in that for a day. If that doesnt work and its a white jumper you might have to bleach it, otherwise die it red :)
