Firstly, I'm not American.

But let me say this to you, you will never become more powerful than America.
It is not called, "God's own country", for nothing.
Any country that surpasses America in power and greatness will need to follow, in essence, the Christian religion first, and do a great deal of sincere praying and sincere living as well.

Before the imminent return of the Saviour of the world, there never will be a greater more powerful country than America.
It has been prophesied in the Book of Mormon also - a record translated back in the 1820's - that USA will be God's blessed country, provided the people remain 'in the way'.
Now there may be a great noise about those who are not, but, obviously, the Lord thinks it is still doing better than the other countries!
By the way, back in 1820, which is shortly before the Book of Mormon was translated, and therefore, also shortly before revealing that such a prophecy was within it, America, at that point in history, was nowhere near being the most powerful nation on earth!

Do you think that the US has no problems and it is the most beautiful country in the world? The US has only three centuries of history. For the outsiders, the people there look more happy and rich. They are ruled by the credit cards. Their family life is rudderless. The tall buildings are not the symbols of their peaceful life. Let us not jealous about the economic abundance of that country. They worked hard and built the present U.S. Let us think the globe as a whole. When compared to the status of India prior to 1947, the present position is stronger economically and educationally. We are reaching the top in the fields of latest technologies. Our man power is in high demand in most of the developed countries like US, UK and other European countries. Transformation is taking place. Within a span of a century, certainly our country is going to be as one of the most powerful countries in the world, in spite of several political and social ills.

It is not easy to. The reason why no European country is more powerful than the US is because they are all small, and do not have such resources. USA is not perfect either, with 1/8th of population living below poverty line. Colonies would be the answer, but it is no longer possible to have any. Only the USSR could compete in the Cold War because of the resourceful land and size.

Powerful how powerfull. powerful in terms of money or army or spiritually or politically of cultur wise.
Being powerful does not guarantee that one is not destroyable. there is no point in being the most powerfull nation. Thats because even after spending extraordinary amount of money on defence, danger still loom large.
Instead becoming the most friendliest nation is a better way. that way one can save large amount of money and in case somone attacks u there will be many friends to save u.

You can do it easily by giving to your people a good and free health system, a good and free education, fare salaries, avoid excessive consumerism, a real plural democracy with universal vote and other things that USA don´t have.
