Mr.5th I love the USA and it's history and people but insurance here is a catastrophe, those of us who have it can't afford it and those who don't get about the same treatment. My premiums go up every year and benifits go down, then they(accountants) decide what medications and test we are allowed to have.
Gee thank you blue cross blue shield, their all the same though.

I'm not familiar with the phrase "knocked down" but if you are talking about people who need immediate medical attention, they are provided with stabilizing treatment whether they have insurance or not, and even if they absolutely can't pay.

Absolutely not! The United States, and its citizens are probably the most compassionate anywhere. That's why we are always the first to offer aid and assistance when natural disasters strike anywhere in the world. Anyone who needs aid when here will receive it regardless of their ability to pay. ( That is one of the benefits that draw so many ILLEGAL aliens to our country). You can call us all the names you want, but don"t accuse us of not helping people when they need it.

Nope, no true at all. If you go to the emergency room in any hospital, they have to take care of you regardless of insurance coverage or your ability to pay anything.

No it isn't!..However, if you dont carry full medical insurance your not going to get treated in a hurry when you get to hospital!..You may end up lying on a gurney for hours before its your turn!..The first question they ask you is not "Where does it hurt?" Its "Do you have medical insurance?"..Lesson?..Dont be poor in America, because their not interested..Unless you have a valid credit card!

Not sure, but I know for serious they will not treat you even with a very serious condition, in an emergency room if you don't have a HMO.
