I do find that people take advantage of you when your nice. I am nice and i feel people take the pee out of me and my kindness all the time, but will will continue to be nice, but just become a little more warey of people who arent so nice! Gl and keep the niceness!!

It always pays to be nice. Sometimes you're the only one who knows it but you're a better person in the long run if you treat people with respect. Occasionally you might have to get woofy with someone because they give you reason to stand up for yourself but you should always be nice...Be aware of those who will try and take advantage of your good nature and just know when you need to put you foot down and say no. Be nice; your mother will like it!!

According to the Good Doctor most inapropriately named Freud (means joy in German, and he was most certainly a sad man)
Nobody does anything for free. You get something even if it is only the warm fuzzy feeling and feeling of smug superiority that comes when you have helped somebody.
Some people try to take and take and never give. But to say all people do this or everybody knows that is too inclusive, and exclusive at the same time. It has zero possibilty of being true.

Yes it is always good to be nice to people most people will not try to take advantage of you either.

it depends on the person. personally, I don't take advantage of people and act nicely because it makes me feel good about myself for being a good person... in the end us nice people are still being selfish.

Yes, if you are nice, they may take advantage of you, if you are not careful. It is nice to be nice to others as they will be nice to you, if you are nice to them.

i mean i know they do .. but i just give as much as i can no matter how empty i slowly become .. but i like to give ...
