Any Tap fans here apart from me? I found the movie so funny that I had to turn it up to 11.

I have watched this film more than any other. I first saw it in about 87 and can't think of a funnier film.
The DVD is great as you've got almost another films worth of material plus an in-character commentary.

Turn it up to 11 - funny. Have you seen "A Mighty Wind"? The same group of actors do a folk music band. I guess they toured in concert and would first do their folk music gig and people would boo them not realizing they were the same guys as Spinal Tap. People think Spinal Tap is a real band. They're that good. Funny

no, no, no i carry it partly out of expectation to be frank, but it has come in usefull a few times, in the topst turvy world of rock and roll having a good solid lump of wood i find usefull.

I'm a great fan of Christopher Guest, Harry Shearer and that bunch.
Spinal Tap was a fantastic flick. It's one of those films where you can accurately say that there wasn't a bad bit in it. It is emminently quoteable too. I loved the "one louder" scene.

Funny you mention that movie. My friend just got that DVD for me as a belated Christmas gift. I have never seen it. I'm reluctant to open the packaging cuz I know some people think the movie sucked and I hate watching movies that are boring or just plain suck. I'm a big movie buff.

A real classic!! I bought it for my boyfriend when he told me he hadn't seen it in years. The foil wrapped cucumber scene has me laughing so hard I nearly broke a rib! LMAO!!

I thought it was brilliant. But I have to admit, I prefer "Best in Show". "A Mighty Wind" is also pretty funny.

yaeh man, I mean this amp is so good, yeah, that you can turn it all the way up to 11, on no other amp can you do that, all others go up to ten, but not Marshall!
