Well, to me it seems as if you live at the Borough - SO, walk up to London Bridge station and check the times of the trains through to Sutton. That way you'll even be able to buy your ticket ready for the journey.

Direct trains to Sutton Common go from Elephant and Castle station (not London Bridge as earlier suggested). You can walk from The Borough to there (see map linked).

See linked website for timetable. Services are run by First Capital Connect.

Trains depart at 09:05 and 09:11 to arrive 09:41 and 09:57. Use the last link on the day you travel. It will show any delays.

Here, use the transport for london Journey Planner http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/user/XSLT_TRIP_REQUEST2?language=en&ptOptionsActive=1 I tried to do this for you, but you weren't specific enough about where you need to travel from.
Good luck!
