You didn't give and idea as to what you want to spend on a foundation. I wouldn’t' t recommend going too cheap because then very often you will get what you pay for and you want a good quality product because foundation could last up to 2 months or more depending on how much you wear makeup? If you use a dime's worth on your skin then you won't waste it as much.

Just so you know I listed products that are considered natural and ones that may contain dyes and other things. I am leaving that up to you to decide for yourself.

For a good foundation you can pay $12 and up.

First off it's important to know your skin type before you set out and buy a product.

Second thing is get yourself a good note book and take that with you to check out what's at the cosmetic counter.

Thirdly find a shade that is close in color to your skin tone and also you want to try it on the side of your face close to the jawline to get an idea on how the color will look on your face.

Fourth try on some foundations at the counter and write the names down plus the name of the foundation color besides the name brand of the foundation.

Write down the store prices then once you get that information then you can do some price comparisons online and check and see what are the price differences for those lines.

Pick lines with in what you want to spend. Now if you don't have a lot of time to try them out try to ask the lady at the counter if they have foundation samples. Some places do and others you have to try it on in the store.

Another thing is some lines may do animal testing on their cosmetics so you may want a cruelty free product. That's something else to consider as well.

Have you tried any cosmetic wear houses or stores that sell discount cosmetics? It also depends on what you want for a good price? If you have sensitive skin then you have to be careful with brands that have fragrance in it if you have allergies.

Foundations come in creams, powders, and liquid. It also depends on your skin type because some may be made specifically for skins types.

I am very familiar with these products mainly because it was the first makeup line that had matt makeup. I was getting tired of the frosty makeup.

I don't know. It depends on what you consider a good price. I buy a foundation by Mayboline. It runs around 6 dollars. I like it because it comes in a tube instead of a glass bottle and it feels light on my face. I hate foundations that come in a glass bottle because when you start to run out with a plastic tube you can always squeeze every little bit out of it unlike a glass bottle.

YES.... Revlon believe it or not.. it is a creme to powder makeup with a gray compact... it has SPF 15 built in so you are not only smoothly putting on the makeup (which is a wonderful consistency that layers slowly to be natural) but you are also protecting your face from the battering of the sun and the ultraviolet rays... It makes you beautiful now and later on in life too. :)

Hello! I use Nivea's Young - Be beautiful - Tinted Moisturiser (It's a bit lighter than foundation, but it makes your face look more natural). Only for $9.99 (AUD) at Woolworth.
