When someone says "please pick me as best answer" on the end of their answer, how does it affect you

it annoys me for their supidity.
they doesn't have the ability of answering well.
and they knows their answer will never be the best.
so they asks for the best answer.
its so stupid and annoying.
i never pick them as the best and sometimes really feel like giving them a thumbs down.

No one ever asked me that. I would pick c, it doesn't affect my decision. I only pick people best answer if they answer my question and have the most accurate answer and have the best reasons for chosing that answer. Like in polls and surveys, if i for example ask, if you want to be someone for a week who would you be? I would choose the person as best answer if they say why they want to be that person. I chose this person as best answer. The answer should have something that will also benefit others. If it involves in taking someone's cancer pain onto themselves for a week i chose them and i will just wish them the best of luck. A lot of humanity and love is put in there.

a) they just want the points! And usually their answers are not well thought out, or do not even answer the question.

I have gotten a few 'oh gosh, i hope you don't pick me as best answer, because I am embarrassed I know this' - those, sometimes i pick!

My decision depends on the answer. One might have asked to pick his as best answer, in a good humour or in earnet. But, i take it as a
humour.

I have never had that happen so far. I would never ask someone to pick me though. I think if it was the best answer I would pick it, but explain that it wasn't because they asked me to.

My Georgie said that it depends on the whole content of the message, and if she liked him/her. But there have been a few of them, and she never did choose them as best answers.
