sorry to say the united states has never had or will have a dictator, now on the other hand, Haiti, Cambodia, Iraq which are a few all had dictators running their country at one time or another, Believe me if we had a dictator running the USA, this Yahoo would not be up, martial law would be declared and lot of people would have been murdered by their own people, there would be no freedom of speech which everyone takes for granted, tv would be censored, the movies that are out would not have been made at all, and no one would ever leave the country unless they escaped. that is dictatorship in a nutshell, so remember next time the freedom that you have asking these kind of questions, was paid for by a price that you couldnt even imagine.

Yes, I have heard of historical examples where a dictator is elected (Adolf Hitler), but George Bush was elected, and unless he refuses to step down next election - he cannot be called a "dictator." Back in 1863, I wonder if you would have been calling Lincoln a "dictator"...
Kim Il Jong, like father (Kim Il Sung) like son, was never elected in an open and free election in North Korean. Neither one of them have stepped, or will step, down for the next election. Unknown to some here - Hugo Chavez and Daniel Ortega were elected BOTH times. Apart from them, are you really interested in who the others are?

I am no Bush fan but he is not a dictator in my book. He has hijacked the Constitution but he will be gone soon & hopefully that damage will be undone.
How many dictators do you know that have a set number days left in their rein? NONE. God bless the American political system.
