Are they making anymore episodes of Kath and Kim?

In the same article they do say that Gina & her husband(who is the producer) have been writing, and they have enough material for a new series or another special like Da Kath & Kim Code.

I read somewhere recently that the series has been bought by US TV, but it has to be re-filmed to suit US audiences. I guess if they have to re-film the entire series they will not be making new episodes here for a while, if ever.
