If some people dont have an answer there is always something to blame that they dont have to take responsibility for.
Sounds as if your wife's attitude to your depression has a lot to do with you not getting any better.
You need to give the truth a go but I doubt you will recieve a fair deal with a wife who cannot see what is happening in your life.
But give it a go in a different way than you ever have.
Pick your most worrying element and run it past her.
See how it goes from there

My husband has a friend in this situation. The girlfriend has a history with him and his addiction. He recently slipped up and was on meth for 3 days. They have a baby together. So her fears are that if he did it before he'll do it again. I tell her to give him a break. He's not perfect no one is. She is so afraid he'll mess up again and She'll be on her own with the baby. He's so afraid she'll blow up that he lies about small stuff to avoid a fight. She doesn't care about the small stuff she cares about the lies. Maybe if he tried to be more honest with her she won't think he's doing something bad behind her back. They both need to communicate better. Express their fears. Maybe if they do that he won't feel the need to do meth to escape. I think they'll be ok.

This is just me, but I would look at her and ask "Are you serious?? Are you mad?? I'm stressed and depressed and not handling it too well right now. I think I need to see a doctor, maybe there is some medicine that can help me, maybe I need counseling, I just don't know. But I really need your support right now, obviously it's upsetting to you too." Or thereabouts.... Best of luck!!

Why would she think you are on meth? Do you have or have you had a problem with meth in the past? If so, you will have to rebuild trust.
