The UK is so similar in very many ways to the US & follows it very closely. At the same time it feels a separation, both physically & spiritually, from mainland Europe.

Britain, like it or not is a part of Europe, geographically and politically. A few miles of water is hardly enough to consider yourselves as physically separate. The language that we call English is not a true language unto itself but a conglomeration of the languages of all the other (European) nations/empires which at one time or another occupied the British Ilses. You always have and always will be European and be thankful that the future sees you most likely a part of the United States of Europe. As for the USA... why on earth would you imagine joining it? The USA is on it's way out as a world power, especially thanks to George W's work. The future belongs to China and a united Europe and India (with a bit of work) has a chance to succeed too.

It will never happen. There are far too many White, English speakers in Britain and our politically correct, multi-culti traitors in Washington would never stand for such an influx. It might hurt somebody's feelings.

No, unless Britain can become a part of Mexico or some other Third World sewer first, lose all traces of the repressive mother tongue, and miscegenate themselves into a deep dark mocha, they will never be welcome here.

Granted, these are long term goals but they can strive for illiteracy and tuberculosis in the meantime, as those are always key selling points.

No. We should become closer to Europe. Leaving the European union will not stop it - France and Germany will continue to take it the way they want it, and will grow increasingly more rich and powerful. The only way to get our interests heard in the EU is to become a central and vital part of it.
