What can be said? This film has left me speechless. I am still recovering from the shock it sent through my veins. It blew my mind! It's an excellent movie. It's one of the best movies made in recent times/. Excellent performanceS (Abhishek! We just love you), Great story, Solid direction, Awesome music - what else do you want?
If you miss it, you will surely miss ALMOST A MASTERPIECE CLASSIC.

Expectations are sky high when it is a Mani Ratnam movie.Expectations are sky high when it is an Abhishek Bachchan movie, especially when the female lead is Aishwarya Rai.Guru does not let you down.The storyline is good and the storytelling is superb.You cannot look away from the screen,the movie is that compelling.Though every character ,big and small,have played their parts well the movie clearly belongs to Abhishek.He is amazing in every scene and is equally good as a young man as well as an older man.In this movie he has transcended over his persona as Abhishek and has lived the role of Gurukant Desai.A truly wonderful and award-winning performance.Aishwarya is quite good as is the rest of the cast.Watch this movie for the story,the direction,the cinematography and above all for Abhishek's awesome performance.This film will definitely be a milestone in his career.

After all its from Mani Ratnam with camera work by Rajiv Menon. Even if the film is not that good, one can enjoy professional work of these two guys. So go ahead and watch the movie in a theatre.

I disagree with you there. SRK in "Chak De India" is a much extra ideal actor than Abhishek Bachchan in "Guru". SRK consists of "Chak De India" on my own on his shoulders. Abhishek has the help of a large number of excellent actors, distinctly Mithun, to prop up "Guru".

i think this is abhishek best pefomance uptill now and he has imprved alot and this movie is tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo goooooooooooooooooooood so go and watch it

everybody should watch it once in cinema hall.
