Leg spin is a type of spin bowling used in cricket. A leg spin bowler attempts to flick the ball with his wrist in the act of delivery so as to cause the ball to spin anti-clockwise. When the ball bounces, the spin causes to ball to deviate sharply from right to left (as seen by the bowler). ...

Off spin is a type of spin bowling in the sport of cricket which is bowled by an off spinner and refers to a right-handed spin bowler who uses his fingers to spin the ball from a right-handed batsman's off side towards the leg side (that is in towards the right-handed batsman, or away from a left-handed batsman). This contrasts with leg spin, in which the ball spins from leg to off and which is bowled with a very different action.

an off spinner basically just rolls the ball out of his fingers.on the contrary,a leg spinner has the ball revolutioned ot of his wrist.obviously a leggie gets more revolutions on the ball and is much effective than an off spin bowler.there is no difference as such in the pitching of the ball.

spinners are the same but the place the spinners throw the balls are different for the right hand batsman the left feet will be the attack of the bowler and later turn into half stump and vice versa in left batsman but hte half spinner throws the spinning ball in front of the half stump and the ball latter moves to leg stick depending on the batsmen, but leg spinners are the tuffer to attend and chances of LBW are more here.

Leg spinners bowl with the right arm with an emphasis of using the WRIST when spinning the ball. This causes the ball the turn anti-clockwise while in the air. When the ball bounces the spin causes the ball to turn from RIGHT to LEFT(from off to leg) [ball turns AWAY from right hand batter] . Eg. Shane Warne.

Off Spinners bowl with the right arm with an emphasis of using the FINGERS to spin the ball. This causes the ball to turn clockwise when in the air and when the ball lands the ball turns LEFT to RIGHT (from leg to off) [ball turns towards right hand batter]. Eg. Muttiah Muralitharan and Harbajan Singh.

This is the basics though.
