I am not sure there will ever be an accurate number on this. If there were my guess would be guys cheat more... I mainly base this on that girls are wanting a relationship and guys are wanting sex most of the time... it "ok" for a guy to be a player, but not for a girl to be a "player" ?? so girls tend to be more faithful and disapointed in guys for that very reason... guys cheat.. my guess from all my experiences would be that at least %40 of guys cheat... if they are married I would guess even less... but not sure.. just a guess..

I think I read or saw on tv that something like 48% of men cheat, have cheated or will cheat on their wives. I don't remember anything about women cheating. It probably would seem less for women though because I would suspect that the women wouldn't get caught as easily as the men. Men aren't as in tune to what's going on (no offense, guys!) as women are..not as likely to pick up on it.

I think the percentage is a lot higher then anyone could ever know. I know I never thought my ex would have the guts to cheat on me but he did. As for who does it more?? From all the people I have talked to since my marriage ended 7 months ago...its about even. I personally have never cheated on any man. Once I am in a committed relationship..thats it.

There is a lot of studies but who do men cheat with? and is watching porn on computer cheating? but I think it is men who cheat most because men cheat for sex. and women cheat for affection

i heard that in the US, 60% of married men cheat, and 40% of married women cheat, though that number is rising fast for women. keep in mind this is self-report, and people could be lying.

I doubt you'll be able to find a reliable figure anywhere, because people would lie about that both during, and even after the fact.
