MUST Do's:

Take a class in something interesting outside of your major, and not because it is a requirement.

Attend AT LEAST one sports game, even if you aren't really into athletics, and one performance from the fine arts department (a play, opera, concert, etc) even if you aren't normally into that.

Get involved on campus with extracurricular activities, whether it be a political activism group, a fraternity/sorority, or a special interest group.

The first university I attended before I transferred required all freshman to live on campus, regardless of how close your parents live. I would absolutely reccomend it to anyone. You get to know your campus, you make friends you wouldn't normally when you get assigned roommates and neighbors you may not already know. It's an amazing experience.

Eat at least once in one of the dining halls.

People watch-- college students are soo interesting to observe.

Live away from your parents for AT LEAST a year! It is soo important!

If you're going to school with a bunch of people you knew in high school-- don't just stick with them-- make new friends!

Keep an open mind!

Understand that the average college student changes their major something like 4 times, so be prepared for that.

Other awesome things to do:

Internships really look good on your resume and they can really help you get a job later on.

Make friends with your professors, especially if you plan on going to graduate school-- then you're set for your reccomendation letters.

Volunteer on campus and in the surrounding community, especially if you're going to school away from home.

Study abroad if you can.

Make a point to go into every building on campus, whether you have classes there or not. The museums and galleries on most campuses are awesome, and some schools have beautiful, historical buildings. (But of course, make sure you have permission or a friend who can get you in to places like fraternity/sorority houses and ROTC buildings, as you normally can't just walk in to places like that.)

Rush for a fraternity/sorority, or at least look into it. It's a really interesting experience, whether or not you plan on joining. There's no obligation to rush.

Ok that's all I can think of for now.

Well there is the obvious things to do such as study, eat and sleep but remember that college is most peoples first time away from home. This is where most people learn to take care of themselves for a change and get to feel some independence. One note though do not let the freedom get out of hand and start skipping classes and partying too much. Spending extra semesters because you couldn't say no to a party is a waste.

Conservatives are greater possibly to be rasist, vote consistent with non secular ideals, and vote purely by occasion not ideals. the greater youthful era is plenty greater sensible right this moment, we are waiting to ascertain it objectivly and notice the flaw in this.

Study. Eat. Sleep.

Also on the list should be have fun, meet friends, get laid, get drunk, and be free. But only if they don't interfer with the big three, at least too much.
