Getting looked at “that way” by others of the same gender is something that happens everywhere and not just in San Francisco.
It is always possible that you may attract attention for other reasons as well.

Maybe if you do not go out of your way to stare at different people until you find one that happens to be looking in your direction, you will not even notice.

I don't know, are your eyes queer to begin with?
Try to think rationally. If a quarter of the population is gay, which is probably way too high, you would stand a 75% chance of not getting queer eyed. Simple mathematics.

This wouldn't happen to be about that teevee show would it.? I thought that only lasted two seasons.

All in all this a strange question. But I think your eyes are safe enough.

If they start to dress in women's clothing it might be a sign though.

Only if you are gay. San Francisco is a wonderful city, with many attractions to attract both tourists and residents, but you needn't be concerned about the population unless you are seeking gay companionship. But if that's your desire, you might be better off in Key West, or Province Town.

If you are in public with speedo's, yeah, if you are wearing tight leather pants, definitely. I'm a little homophobic, I don't like queers looking at me like we will have a future or a one night stand. I just stay away, but. do it respectfully.
