Rurouni Kenshin (Japanese Version)

Samurai X (American Version)

No difference in the story but characters are labelled differently. There is also a small difference in the art of fighting where in Samurai X, Kenshin does not use the tenth step but a different move.

nothing really, it's just that rurouni kenshin (kenshin the wanderer, something like that) might sound a bit too foreign for non-Japanese viewers, so they renamed it samurai x (referring to the scar). and yeah, they changed the names a bit too (yahiko = yoshi, etc)
