Are Royal Mail cooperative with such short term addresses?

Sorry for not supplying enough information. Box will be for receipt of post only. Collection and replies will be done by volunteers. I need Postal address for people outside of town to write to.

Look on the Royal Mail site as they have a Royal Mail Address Management section that my husband, who worked for Royal Mail for 13 years, thinks is in Edinburgh.
Failing that why not get someone to build a post box that has an IN section and an OUT section, and attaches to the front of someones house and get some kindly soul to use their time to reply to the letters.
A computer template for replies is easy to find on the net and would save a lot of time and money.

Why is this in the UNITED STATES local businesses section? Then you go and put UK answers only!!!!.Think you will get a lot of replies about how you can get it in the states as well, despite what you have put in the question.

why not put a box up that is not for royal mail to be collected and just one of the villagers emtpy it if its for replies from santa all you do is send replies back to the child.

go to the post office,or one of the local gov.agencys to check to see whats available.
