We got this guy that got involved with this women. We told him she was no good. That we had good reason to believe she was cheating on him. He told her. Then she gave him an ultimatum: no longer hang with us or she would leave him.
The jerk took her side, and cut off all ties with us. We then heard through the grapevine that they were engaged to get married. Well, he eventually walked in on her having sex with another guy. He was heartbroken. A couple of days after he caught her, she called up to tell him that the engagement was off. Now, she is "engaged" to the guy she was caught sleeping with.
Our former "friend" now wants us to accept him back into our circle. There's a part of us that feels sorry for the bastard. However, there are alot of hurt feelings. How could he just cast us aside like that ? We have known him for years. He only knew this tramp for a few months. What should we do ?

My Opinion Only.. 1st and foremost everyone makes mistakes, and love makes us all blind. Perhaps he has learned a valuable lesson, and that lesson would be His friends, don't mean him any harm, but are were only trying to keep him from coming to any harm.Sometimes people need to fall, and it sounds like he fall flat on his backside. Please keep in mind, he is not only hurt by her, he is hurting because he gave his friends up for her, and was simply slapped in the face. He also slapped his self in the face by turning on his friends. His coming back is a HUGE step. If you were indeed his friend, embrace him and welcome him back. However do let him no, that you will not be there the next time, and that he can NOT keep turning his back on you and then coming back around and expecting you to be there. I hope this has helped.

You better accept your friend back!
He didn't cast you aside, he tried for a future with some one, that doesn't mean it didn't include you!
Chances are after getting hitched, surely he'd want you as friends.
As soon as he told her that you guys thought she was cheating on him, her reaction was a sign that you were right. She cut you off, he didn't, he was just looking for a future with some one and this person happened to play him.
I bet you a million bucks he needs his friends right now more than anything. Being cheated on is not something that just flies by and you get over in two seconds.
Be there for your friend.

Give him the benefit of the doubt - he's hurting at the moment and needs some friends to get him through. I'm sure that he'd be feeling incredibly guilty over how he chose a horrible woman over your friendship

Friends are always friends no matter what. They boy was lovestruck and people do crazy things when they're lovestruck. Take him in to nurture the poor guy from this tragic disaster and hopefully he learned his lesson. But if he does it again, drop him like it's hot and never speak to the fool again.
