cache is your computer

the hard drive is the file cabinet

the RAM is your dining room table - the more RAM the more files you can have out on the table

the cache determines how fast you can move those files from the file cabinet to the dining room table - and back - the bigger the cache - the faster the transfer

best of luck!

Hi there. Basically cache is also known as "Temporary Internet Files". Internet cache is used to help improve how fast data is opened while browsing the Internet. In most cases, each time a web page is opened, it is sent to your browser's temporary cache on your hard disk drive.

If that page is accessed again and has not been modified, the browser will open the page from your cache instead of downloading the page again. This saves users a lot of time, especially if that user is using a modem, and can also help save the web page owner on bandwidth. This is the ONLY reason why an internet cache exists.

Hope this helps!

Cache is a type of memory in a computer. When computer is looking for data , it first searches in the ' cache ' memory then carries on with its work. If there is no data in cache , then it first stores it in there , then it proceeds with its work.

Basically , in internet the data is the websites, your personal data, data what you entered when you were using the internet. This can be cleared or stored according to the will of the user or the default settings of the PC.

Hope i have tried to clear your query.

It's temporary storage for web files on your computer.

when you re-visit a site.......It loads far quicker because your computer can access the information instantly!
