Is life before marriage and after marriage two entirely unconnected or different stories in every case? Does marriage change our life so much as though we were to have begun an entirely new life altogether?

The more important part of the question is as to which part of our life is more important.... the part that brought a male and female together to tie the knott or the rest of it thereafter.

Let's say it's the start of a new chapter of a book, the one that has for title "sacrifice and communication". Life after marriage changes a lot... the key for happiness is to find common areas of agreement and Independence. Indulge in some alone time, and hobbies.
The drastic change is when babies come along.... that's a new book not a chapter... Some find a meaning for their lives when they conceive and some dilute themselves completely in the new born, and their life as a couple becomes a nightmare...

End of first romantic stage. Beginning of a multitask "God give me more patience stage" hehehhe :-) But i think both stages are important. But the rest of it after tying the knott is like WORK which we have to nourish, exert effort, perform our duty and responsibility in order for it to succeed.

I dont know, i am not yet married, but im in a relationship right now and at this stage of our affair we are still working on it coz sometimes it is calm and steady and sometimes it is unpredictable and complex.... huuuh :-) Did somebody says that life is not all bed of roses :-)

It's only the beginning. I don't like Hollywood movies that treat courtship like the beginning and marriage as the end - because life just gets more interesting after marriage.

Am for me it’s the beginning of their journey
And its not how many years the been together

The important is how much they love each other
And they are welling to listen with each other

That’s a perfect relation I guess

And always keep on touch with God

Id like to think anytime a dramatic step is taken in life its the beginning of new chapter, but the entirety of a persons life is the story. Sometimes you just find good clips.

It's a continuation of the same story..... from the beginning to the end. LIfe changing? Can be, not always. I think it depends on the circumstances.

somewhere in the middle.
it may be the beginning, if they will be together till the end of their lives.
on the opposite, it would be an ending, if they would get divorced.

depends of the two ones.
