Isn't it Mohammed? I read that somewhere recently. Something about how in other cultures, like Islam, sons in the same family can have the the same first name, well that and since Christian or Western peoples/names aren't really the majority anymore. Given the population of China is so large I wonder if that makes an impact. I listed a few websites but didn't have time to go through them. Good question!

Based on China having the most population, it seems that
Chang or Zhang or modifications, variations of such is the most common name.----There are approximately 100 million Zhangs.
However, elsewhere in the world where we may know only one, this trivia does not seem correct.
Based on your question which implies the number of people who have that name, I guess the Changs have it!
