I can hold a bunch of carrots in one hand. Or a bunch of bananas. A bunch of grapes. A "bunch" is simply things that have been grouped together, or bunched. A bunch of branches. Isn't it a neat word, though? Can we come up with a different meaning altogether and popularize it? It was done with "gay". What kind of bunch is on TV tonight? Let's bunch some pizza. Want to bunch? I think you have the bunch; better see a doctor. You gave it to me the other month after we were out partying.
