Want to trim the existing video into parts and save them and delete the part which is not necessary at all..

Download.com has a lot of free downloads that have been reviewed by users. I trust their reviews more than the "pro's". I think another site is something like cnet.com.

For the work that u want to do, u can do it using VCD cutter, but if u will use Premier Pro for this work then it will be like u can do anything with that video,
u can find these softwares in some sites like
www.phazeddl.com, or any other sharing sites ,
and operating premier pro is quiet easy, if u start working urself u can do far far better than the thing u want to do...

Windows Xp SP2 built in movie maker is the best for editing ur movies.

the best software is VCD cutter or DVD cutter. type the keywords "VCD Cutter Free Download" in google and download it.
