It sounds like a Braxton Hick, which is normal. They consist of your stomach contracting and releasing...It isn't really painful but sometimes uncomfortable and scary.

It's usually a sign your body is just preparing for the baby to arrive and nothing to worry about.

Labor pain start in your back and move forward to your vagina, like an extremely painful menstrual cramp. My labor pains were always accompanied by vomitting and diarrhea...

Good luck.

I had a C-section with both of my girls. I never went into labor with either one of them so I'm not sure what actual labor feels like. But it could just be false labor. Braxton Hicks contractions. This is basically just your body preparing or practicing for labor and delivery when the big day finally does come. I did have a few of those with my second daughter and a few of them were rather painful. I'm sure it's perfectly normal and nothing to worry about, but it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to check with your Dr. just to make sure nothing is wrong. You'll know your baby is safe and you will have peace of mind. That alone is worth it's weight in gold. Hope everything turns out fine. Good luck and congrats.

It's quite possible these are contractions. Keep track of how often, how long, and how far apart the pains are. It may be false labor, but to be on the safe side, check with your doctor first thing in the morning!

It may also simply be the baby is scooting around and trying to find a comfortable position.

Good luck!

You are probably haveing Braxton-Hicks contractions. They claim they are supposed to be a less painfull contration. but they can feel just as bad or worse. What it is the uterus is getting ready for labor and it starts around the 30th week and last until you actually go into labor. you can go a week or two without one. Just keep a look out for the "bloody show" they mucus plug and if they are 5 min apart then I would head to the hospital.

If it is a contraction then you will be having them every few minutes to like an hour. If your hurting so bad go to the er.

I am not sure but if you are feeling like something isn't right you need to see a doctor right away.
