Your Bank (the receiving bank) does not know any details of payments coming in until the date the money is received.
The sending bank (whoever is making the payment) would be able to tell you the amount and date if the payment has been set up. This could be a regular payment on the same day each month or a one off payment for a specific day if the payment has been requested.
However the sending bank will likely not divulge this info to you as it is confidential info for the sender only.

Bacs payments take 3 working days to credit an account.
The Bank making the payment can confirm that the payment has been made (But they must stay within the terms of the Data Protection Act).
Your Bank will only know about the payment once it has been received and credited to your account.
If you are releasing goods or services against a Bacs payment it is wise to allow an additional day after it has been received into your account as Bacs payments can be recalled on the same day.

No. Even if it's a regular deposit every month, how would the bank know ahead of time if it's going to be deposited again? Unless you have a psychic bank. Beware of scams! There are criminal groups that will tell you that a payment is going into your account and would you write them a check right away, and they'll hold the check until the payment is deposited. Don't believe it.

They can only tell if it is regular direct debit set up that has come out before. If it is a one off payment then no
they will only know maybe a day before when the transaction hits there bank!

The only way they can tell you whats coming into your account is if the money is from them!
