To do so would mean that we could somehow break the bond of the space time continum. By doing so we would create a hypothetical vortex that would destroy matter. So, no, unless science comes up with a completely fantastic way, then no.
However, if you move at the speed of light - time stands still. Since, light moves at the fastest rate - meaning the time continum must move at that rate. Thus, if you outrace time ...

to be honest i don't know whether we could right now, don't think our understanding of physics and quantum physics has reached that level. to i believe that someday in the future it will be possible
i read sci-fi a lot, and a lot of what is the "classics" is becoming a reality.
my guess is that some day a time machine will be built, but not in the means that we think of it today. i think it will allow us to see the events of the past as they actually occured and possibly give a look into the future. although i also believe that our futures are determined by the decisions we make. and for every decision we make there are several choices each leading to a different future.

I dont know depends on who you are to make a time machine you have to travel faster then light speed and people cant even run the mile in less then three minutes to travel in light speed you would have to do the mile before it goes to half a second so maybe someone in 200 years cant but unless you are a clone of Albert Enstein and someone from the future then dream on.

according to me we can build a time machine. actually our brain is the natural time machine. if we could understand the working of brain in detail and its principle of interpreting future, then we can develop a time machine. with this kind of machine we may not enter into the future, but can see the future
i am 16yrs old. i hope that my explanations will provide u the required answer.

That would be sweet but I don't think man has enough wisdom at this point to build a time machine that works. We saw what happened in Napoleon Dynamite !!! Shut if off Kip shut if off :O)

if any machine can be made to go faster than speed of light it can be regarded as time machine machine but question of travrling in past still remains unsolved

yaa u can ..only thing u need is to have a speed of light...wondering how this will help u?
well i tell u ,by time machine u basically means to controll ur ageing with time and u can do this if u start travelling with speed of light because from Einstein equation E=MC^2
wen u travel wit speed light ur mass will convert in form of energy and energy cant get old kind of things...wow tell one thing u believe or not if ur form of energy it means u become GOD..because now u got POWER.......lol

but an actual time machine no....
because really, TIME DOESN'T EXIST
it's man-made
TIME IS AN ILLUSION

yeah dude...
havent you watched napoleon dynamite???
i doubt you'd be able to build one now... but it could be possible in 2000 years or so when archeologists are digging up the remains of my pentium core duo and a boxed copy of windows vista ... relics
