I have missed my period by 6 days, so i went to a clinic today, They used my urine to test and it was negative. Could this be accurate, or did i test too early.

No honey, the test was accurate. Test now days can tell as of the 1st day of your missed period. Now in some cases if there was to be some sort of problem & your HCG levels didnt rise and your pregnant it would read a false negative, in most of those cases the pregnancy wouldn't be viable anyway. i'm sorry.
You sure you didn't miscalculate your date of menstration?

It is too hard to say without knowing more about your cycle. There could be other reasons whey your period hasn't arrived. Sometimes stress or sickness can delay ovulation so that it happens later in your cycle and that in turn pushes back your expected period date. Typically... your Luteal phase (the time from when your body ovulates to when your period arrives) is approximatly 11 -15 days, different from person to person but normally the same for you each month). I would wait for a few more days and then test again. A good website that can offer you more about how pregnancy tests work and when to expect a positive is www.peeonastick.com.

I think they should have asked to come back to be retested in 10 days or so. No pregnancy test is infallable. You might want to be tested with a different pregnancy kit in a couple of weeks or if you're really really worried now. Some test kit is better than others and some work better for certain people than others.

I tested 7 full days before my period was due and the tests (2) were positive and yea i was pregnant. You may not be pregnant. Get a blood test instead. Good luck

I would go to a Dr. and have them do a blood test and if it comes back neg again then they will be able to check and see what is going on, on why your period is late.

yes it is accurate.. you are not pregnant... if you had sex during your unsafe days or fertile days the embryo or baby is made within 24hrs. so pregnancy test is accurate within 1-2days after fertile sex.
