And why...are so many women ok with their husbands watching it?

I don't see what the problem is.

About all men and women I know have watched pornography AND found it exciting at least one time in their lives.
Pornography CAN be part of a healthy relationship. I wouldn't mind if my boyfriend watched it once in a while. I wouldn't mind watching with him either, if I felt like it.

Of course, it can be unhealthy if it becomes an obsession. Like all things, really.
Don't act like watching porn is some nasty disease or something!
Djeez, all those answers here... Next thing you know they'll be saying "masturbation will make you go blind!".
Like back in the '50s.

Like some people who posted...Moderation is the key (as with anything that is potentially addictive).

If I knew my husband was watching a lot of porn (alone) and Thumping consistently, I'd have a problem with it and talk to him about our Sex Life and ways to improve it.

I know a lot of women (myself included) that do enjoy occasional pornography (nothing severe or sick), just a bit...primal.

It's okay when it's used as a Jump Start or Add On to pleasure.

it could be argued (by so-called community standards) that all sex is pornography, folks. And indulging in too much of any of it is bad. It's all just responding to primal turn-ons. And just like booze, it's just a question of whether you control it or it controls you. I know plenty of people that don't give a s*hit about the printed or film versions of the stuff but have destroyed marriages and even their lives with addictions to real life porkery.

I think people around here ought to get off their little high horses of delimination and stop tsk-tsking about this crap.

Kinda funny that it's only women that do it. Sometimes right after they tell some clueless dork to buy a "rabbit" for his old lady or admit they've let their old man grease 'em up and ream their rump a few times - or worse yet - treat dykes and fags like they are merely practitioners of perfectly acceptable "alternative lifestyles" and act like a guy that jerks off over the last issue of "Knockerooni" is a twisted hopeless pervert in need of professional help.

Get bent. The lot of ya.

2d question first: a variety of of females and men participate in pornography, because they favor the money and picture that's relaxing/kinky and so on. Why do men watch porn? a variety of of diagnosis signifies that men are more suitable seen, so that they favor to bodily see acts of sex to be aroused. As apposed to females who're the overall public of readers of pornographic books (Romance and Erotic Novels they are bought as in maximum shops). That notwithstanding is a thinly disguised excuse for why men are the overall public visitors of pornographic videos. because in some study (revealed in American Psychology Oct or Nov 2007 I ignore the ebook data) it grow to be discovered that shown a sexually photo pictures, men are some thing like 70% more suitable in all probability to no longer truly be focusing on the the sexual act yet fairly faces or backgrounds. And that men will spend on popular 22 seconds searching at a sexually photo photo next to an unrelated passage of textual content, compared with a whopping 310 seconds popular spent by using then females of the surveys performed. That 2d truth notwithstanding, grow to be pointed at as confirmation of why womans mag fashions are more suitable in all probability to be airbrushed, because more suitable scrutiny is placed into pictures by using female readers. yet study like that are noticeably uncommon. And the "norm" is stated by using maximum execs to be that men are more suitable seen.

BRKING LUNCHBOX has covered most of the correctness. I think porn is addictive, distracting and grows into a serious delusion. But most women in America can't believe they are different then men, and judge harshly things that don't tempt them, yet at the same time promote gay lifestyles.

THEY DON'T REALIZE THE GAY IN THEIR OFFICE POSES NO PHYSICAL THREAT OF HARM, or rape, OR CHALLENGE TO THEIR WORKING STATUS, AS A HETERO DOES.

So, their 'compassion' is selfserving bullcrap. America is effeminate, corrupt and doomed to lose wars if it believes it can break spiritual laws and justify them.

I don't think I know a single man who doesn't enjoy porn. Personally, it doesn't bother me. I think some of it is funny. Men are visual creatures and they like to watch. I'll tell you one thing, if he's home watching porn he's going to be having sex with me. I make sure I get what I want.

I think if it is "normal" porn, they are most likely normal guys with normal sexual needs and desires.

I'd imagine women are okay with it because their husbands are clearly in control of their use, they're not looking at anything illegal or nasty, and the women are not hypocrites - plenty of women are titillated by romance novels, advertisements and certain movie stars ... they are all ways of getting aroused by someone not your partner, yes?

As long as it isn't child porn, snuff films, or rape, I don't see anything wrong with it in moderation(if he is addicted, that is something else entirely).

And why am I ok with my husband watching it? I'm not always in the mood when he is, and if he needs the release it would just be wrong of me to try and tell him not to do it.

Personally, it's the degree of pornography which can bother me. Snuff videos, clear rape scenarios and women being brutalized or humilated for male gratification are unconditionally wrong.

It depends on the type of porn. If it was something abnormal, and I found out about it, I would lose all respect for that person sorry to say.
