If you saw the episode then kudos to you. It is not due out for three weeks. You should tell people what rainbow you live at the end of because you have found your pot of gold.
All I saw was the preview and it showed a woman who seemed to be a drug user/prostitute. The drug user fits him. He also frequents prostitutes. His leg is all mangled up and he hasn't slept with anyone except for his ex girlfriend , excluding a prostitute since his le was operated on.
I don't think that means he has an STD but it may mean that he shares one of her weaknesses that drives her to be the way she is.
In a previous episode House told a midget that they were alike in that they were both damaged and people look at them like they are freaks. A prostitute can be a damaged person as well. You could learn why it is theat House doesn't see his family more. His drug habit could be the product of a privileged upbringing. He had his drug addiction before he had his leg injury. He just lucked into an injury that allows him to be permanently high for the rest of his days.
Tritter was right about House using his injury to his advantage.
At any rate I hope this helped.
You don't have to see an episode some times to know exactly where they are going with the characters. House is supposed to be the Sherlock Holmes of medicine and it only makes sense that his addiction has to be established as more that just a sore leg.

3 weeks from final Tuesday and that i'm SO FRICKIN EXCITED!!! Dave Matthews is the customer megastar as an savant pianist....looks surprising!!!!! I could say thats the subsequent NEW episode....i'm guessing it may be pre-empted by utilising something else the subsequent 2 weeks.
