Hi, I am pregnant and have dogs and cats. The infection from cats is not an infection.. it is a virus that can make the baby mentally handicapped.. the virus is found in cat urine and feces.. and usually only found in cats that eat raw eggs and meats (that is why the women should only have indoor cats, becuase mice and such are raw meat)... When I change my litter box of my indorr cats, I wear gloves and a mask.. with my dog and caged pets.. I don't worry...

You can catch toxoplasmosis from a cat's feces, which is bad for a pregnant woman. It is advised that pregnant women do not touch or come near cat feces. This is not something dogs carry and pass.
If your dog is healthy and has all his shots there isn't really any diseases that doctors tell women they can get from a dog.
If you want to be sure you might take your dog for a check up and make sure the vaccines are up to date. the vet will be able to better answer your questions. I have never heard of a healthy dog affecting a pregnant woman or baby's health.

Breast maximum cancers danger is heavily decreased in a spayed female the comparable because it quite is decreased in people after toddler-bearing age or by applying hysterectomy as hormones play an excellent section in maximum cancers. With the spay you do away with 2 extra uncomplicated maximum cancers web pages, the womb and ovaries, and the no longer having intercourse or toddlers seems after yet another. it won't be able to assure the canines won't get maximum cancers of alternative organs, or maybe the breast or cervical cancers yet something that reduces the possibility it ought to take place are worth it. it quite is the comparable for adult males too! A neutered male is at much less danger of 'male' specific cancers and you do away with one internet site completely. Having an animal spayed/neutered isn't all approximately 'beginning administration' it quite is approximately wellbeing too. they do no longer understand intercourse or parenting as we do they react on instinct and to the hormones. they do no longer pass over something. In a wild %. they does no longer breed as in basic terms the Alpha pair do! have her spayed and be beneficial which you're doing the excellent factor for her.

the only problem with cats is emptying the litter box, and its called histoplasmosis. simply wash her hands after petting the dog, before she eats anything or puts her hands to her face.

You people are loony and fail to realize that humans are the disease spreaders .......If I had to choose between kissing(not Frenching) a stranger or a dog,the dog would win.
Why do some people become so stupid when they have a big baby.Grow Up....
