First of all, your wife is lucky to have you.

If shes feeling really down about herself and you want to make her feel better, tell her how beautiful you still find her.

If words aren't enough then do little things to make her understand. Leave her little notes on the mirror that say all the things you find attractive about her. (i.e. the way that her eyes twinkle when she smiles, the way her smile melts your heart.. things like that)
Tell her (if you can remember) how you felt the first moment you layed eyes on her.

We girls never get tired of compliments. So more then likley.. words will be enough to make her see how great you still think she is.
If all else fails, take her to the spa or salon and pay to have a mani/pedi or a little makeover.

All I can really suggest is love and support. I was sick in my current pregnancy from about 7 weeks to 16 weeks. It was very hard to feel sexy (or anything other than pure awful) while waiting for it to pass. It SHOULD eventually settle down. I'm not sure how far along she is but most women come right by about 15 - 18 weeks. I would hold off on making her feel "sexy" until then. Just be as supportive and patient as you can. Lots of small gestures that remind her you love her e.g. buying super cute baby clothes or items she can enjoy once she's better like a nice bathrobe/bubble bath etc will cheer her up and eventually, she'll settle back to normal... Good quality maternity clothes also help you feel a little less fat/frumpy so if you can allow her to shop at GAP or somewhere that sells nicer styles it may help. All the best!

It's hard for us pregnant women to see ourselves as sexy b/c society's definition of sexy is stick thin! Women tend to incorporate this into their own definition of sexy even though we shouldn't. Make sure you aren't pressuring her into having sex, b/c when a women has morning sickness and all the hormone changes she is generally not in the mood for sex. Also, find a stylish maternity website or magazine that carries the style of clothing she usually wears and tell her to buy some (if you can afford it). Make sure you give her compliments and express how you feel about the pregnancy. She may not think she looks sexy, but having you tell her she still does to you will make her feel better.

I think you ought to treat you're wife with more respect. She does not needto be sexy. She is absolutly georgous. This is a time in her life that is simply amazing creating a baby in her womb. Is something a man never will be able to do.Natural beauty is what she has, she won't always be throwing up. Make sure she has fuids, crackers really help.Pregnant women are the most beautiful in the world.Sexy just does'nt sound right. She is a mother, creating you're precious child. Take time to take care of her and honour her, do not pressure her. You will have plenty time later for sexy

I felt the same way when I was pregnant. What my boyfriend said to me (that made me feel better AND I thought he was the sweetest man alive) was "I've never seen any pregnant woman look as beautiful as you" and then put his hand on my stomach and said "You are a lucky baby, to have her as your mommy. Just wait till you see her... she's the most beautiful woman on Earth."

say something like that. Also, rub her back, tell her you love her, be supportive, and try to be understanding about the hormones that will get worse from now until she gives birth, lol.

Why would she want to feel sexy if she's sick? Reminds me of the old Billy Crystal song 'you look marvelous' (it's better to look good rather than feel good because then someone will tell you you look good and then you'll feel good!)

Take her shopping or treat her to a massage (from a professional) and do what busemomme says. good luck!

All you can do is be honest. When I was expecting - a flower and foot massage went a long way.Even when I was sick I felt a hundred times better.
Now if you are after sex....... hold off till her nasea passes. When she starts to get bigger you may have a problem cause it's not impossible just very hard to get comfortable.

Tell her she is still sexy, but if she's sick you'll have to be patient. Take care of her, in these months she will need a lot of affection and cuddles more than sex.

I really think that you are a real sweetheart to ask such a thoughtful question. When a woman is pregnant, she has all kinds of emotions. Just be sweet to her and when you hold and kiss her whisper, Thank you, for being the mother of my child. Just be affectionate and thoughtful she will get the picture

Tell her. Tell her how beautiful she is. Show her. Give her lots of affection. I know when I was pregnant, I felt horribly unattractive but my husband being the sweetheart he is always made a point to tell me how pretty I looked even on my worst days.
