Go and see your Dr just to be sure...it's normal to have irregular periods, but if you miss 6 periods or more in a year then there could be something wrong.

don't worry, periods do not have to come every month in their exact date. in the time of around three years after one first gets her period, for some, it takes time till it comes regular. moreover, stress, lack of sleep, eating disorders, and other factors also make it irregular. I'm sure that you have nothing to worry about, i know a lot of people who have your same problem, a friend of mine, once skipped her periods for 8 months. However, just to be on the safe side, its better if you see a doctor.
Take care and good luck

Are you on the pill if you are then you wont always get your period. It may also be your diet or added stress that is making your body skip your period.

it's normal for young girls to have their periods at different times in the beginning... you could skip one.. then have 2 in the same month..etc.. after awhile it'll balance out and become regular

I have a close friend who doesn't get her period every month (she's irregular) so she told her OGBYN and they put her on birth control pills to help regulate her cycle.
