They want to create as much hype as possible so they can make the most sales.
Did you know we never celebrated Halloween in my country (it has no real relevance to our heritage) until the retail stores figured they could make money from it, and then suddenly there is "Halloween Specials!" all over the place, and now we have big celebrations each year...
I love celebrating, but its a bit sad to see the meanings behind the celebrations being replaced for pure profit

because we are almost in the middle of january. and easter is just a couple months away. stores normally offer stuffs months ahead of schedule...

This allows you to buy the stuff BEFORE the holiday. Just like they put out the Christmas stuff out around Halloween.

Because thats all holidays are are big money making schemes for the big man. And they can't there product out fast enough to make there greedy selfs some money.
