I have asked myself that many a times. Especially with everything I've been going through in my life. But I don't know you so we won't go into that. Everyone else is answering the obvious, "everywhere" or "heaven" but my guess is that you already knew that. I think that your searching for something alittle more than that. As in, "why isn't God doing something for me?" because only people that think that God has abanded them ask where He is. Now, I, myself, am not a very religious person, but from going to church, I've realized that when people say, "He works in mysterious way." they're not just saying it, they mean it. I have even had His mysterious ways casted on me and I've seen it first hand. So the truth is that God is everywhere, but he is also no where. He is all around you keeping you safe, while at the sametime letting the demons attack you. So infact, God is with you, but really, he isn't. Just wait, with time you will get what you have prayed for. It may not be exactly what you thought it was going to be, but it will be what you prayed for.

god is a protective mechanism invented by men who wanted a way to control people. it's politics. how can we know where he is? how can we know if he is? you have to die to find out, according to the believers. if you live a life of generosity and smiles and love and kindness then you will go to heaven. hey there is a question! where is heaven...is there a heaven ...is there a hell...blah blah blah....just live your life at your best. we are all going to die. i personally dont expect to see an invisible man in the sky with bright lights and pearly gates, but you might and that is okay. just be good to yourself and others and perhaps you will find out where god is or isnt.

God is in Heaven. He sent the Holy Spirit (a part of him) to live on Earth (everywhere) with us.

The concept of "God" being in heaven and the "holy spirit" being on Earth, being the same but different people, was explained to me like this: You have a mother. She is also a daughter. She is also a sister. She is all three of these things, but one being.

God is all, and is within all. If I had ever had a doubt, it would have vanished when my child was born. One look, and I knew.
