Do lots of questions.
Understand why you got answers wrong, then do them again without looking at the book to re-inforce what you learned.

Practice.

There are only a small number of patterns to the integration problems you will encounter. With practice, you will start to immediately recognize the pattern and recall how to go about evaluating the integral. But the only way to gain enough familiarity with the patterns is to do lots of integration problems.

So be patient, and practice doing as many problems as you can.

You might want to get a tutor. Ease off on entertainment after class and on weekends, and study. Practice various problems to gain the proficiency that you desire to obtain. The fun times will be of no value on a resume', but the gaining the proficiency of Calculus will. There will be time enough for fun later, for now, study so that you can be the one hired for that good job you'll want, and need after you graduate.

Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Get different Math books to look at.

Have someone tutor you that knows what he/she is doing.

Read things on line like Integration Strategy:
